Joseph holts - brewery

Founded in 1849, Joseph Holt's Derby Brewery has remained in the family for over four generations, and - whilst being far from backward looking - Holt's values its heritage. G.V. Gowland & Sons Ltd. have been providing the estate with the Sharp Epos solution for over 12 years. Currently there are 127 Joseph Holt's houses, 93% of which are owned by the company.

G.V. Gowland and Sons Ltd. provide the experience and technology to be able to manage their estate, utilising features such as table planning and wireless handheld waiter/waitress terminals in their food houses, real time sales and stock management throughout the estate and are also introducing integrated EFT solutions.

Mark Norbury, Operations Manager, is delighted with Gowlands Epos solutions; they provide Holt's sites the tools to increase productivity and profitability at its most critical level, the point of sale, whilst providing head office with the flexible management reporting and analysis required from a modern managed estate.

 

 

nUTTERS - RESTAURANT

Nutters is housed in the lavish settings of an 18th century manor house, set in 6 ½ acres of groomed parkland with spectacular views across Ashworth moors. To help increase efficiency and maximize profits through the point of sale, G.V. Gowland & Sons Ltd. proposed the implementation of the Sharp EPOS system. Andrew now has the infrastructure to expand his business to its full potential, offering a more efficient billing system and enhanced customer service.

Since 1971, when the first restaurant, Cesare (now called San Rocco Manchester), was opened, San Rocco's aim has been to build a solid, respected, reputation based on certain principles: to offer good, authentic Italian food served by welcoming and efficient staff, at competitive prices, in very pleasant surroundings.
Although connected in style, each restaurant has its own character and distinct buzz.

In order to help manage the point of sale and maintain a high quality of service, San Rocco enlisted the experience of Gowlands to provide the front of house Epos systems.

Gowland & sons Ltd. we are involved with and work closely with some of the largest charity organisations in the UK, providing them with anything from a single till system to a fully integrated multi site management solution. We believe that by helping each organisation with their task of helping others has its own rewards.

 

Progreso - cafe franchise

 

Progreso cafes are situated in Covent Garden and on Portobello Road, London, which are prime locations for this fast paced cafe franchise. The challenge for G.V. Gowland & Sons Ltd. was to install a system that would reduce service time and increase productivity; this was achieved by providing a fast and easy to use system, incorporating food and beverage dispense printing away from the point of sale, allowing for sales and orders to be processed more efficiently.
